Meet Zarni - Nature School, Nature Kid.
Zarni comes to our Nature School - Nature Kids Weekdays programme. She is a very passionate and inspiring young lady, with a deep love and respect for nature. She wrote a poem she'd love you to read.
Why do we do this?
Why do we fight?
What is the point
of being in might?
They say they need money
but they really do not
All it is ..is the greed
they have got.
They pollute the oceans
They pollute the air
They pollute here, there
and everywhere.
They build their buildings
over animals homes
They think they're in charge
but they're really
rotten marrow bones.
I am the mighty white rhino
who you hunt for my horn
You chop it off and
leave me to die in pain
Really! You should be
very very ashamed!!
And think of all the refugees
roaming around our home
Looking for a place to stay
A place to call their own
And what do we do?
We shoo them away
Even though they tell us
their home is far from safe.
And think of the snow leopard
No matter how rare
Gets hunted for it's fur
The hunters come
from far and near.
But do you think
we should let greed
stand in our way?
Do you think
these harmful humans
could learn
a peaceful way?
